A bit about Brother Sewing Machines…

From then…

Brother Sewing Machines started out as a family business back in 1908 and sewing machines were our very first specialism. Under the strong leadership on the Yasui brothers, we set a precedent for breaking boundaries and building innovative, expertly designed and affordable sewing machines. From perfecting the mass production of Brother Sewing Machines in 1932 to introducing our first electronic machine in 1976 we’ve always blazed a trail.

…To now

More than 100 years later, we’ve grown into a multinational corporation. We still have the same spirit of experimentation and commitment to creativity remains.
Though we may also be well-known for our office technology nowadays, we continue to take pride in creating innovative, expertly-built sewing, embroidery and quilting machines suited to all skill levels. So whether you’re a keen beginner of a seasoned pro, we’re always at your side.
